I am confused and ashamed.

Why?
I am on several doll sites, chatting and also sometimes buying stuff. 

But when I go out on the big web my heart just stops jumping. What on earth are people thinking when they ask for astronomic prizes on dolls that are just lovely and beautiful? There is spesific one doll where the prices has gone skyhigh: Tjorven Ratti doll.

She is not rare, she has her era in the 60`ties and 70`ties. And there are loads of them around in the world. As mentioned not rare, but beautiful. 

I have some of theese dolls and I love their faces, and I am ashamed of the prices some people dare to take for this lovely doll.  She is not worth the price you put on her. Some of the dolls are also badly damaged, eyes are broken, legs and body fall apart, and even then, prices are from about $50 and all the way up to $250.
And people that are buying doll at theese cost are even dumber. I would concider buying a "new" doll for $50, but she have to be ok:Shiny hair, eyes ok, and also body ok, and of course with no marks on.
So for the people that tries to earn money on me for theese dolls: Happy selling. I enjoy my dolls, whose not rare at all. They are all happy dolls, look at their smiles.

Here are some of my dolls, that I have taken pictures of, still many left to give a photo session.
I haven`t counted how many I got, but I suppose about 25-30. So if I take a shortcut and estimate the price after $250 each I am am rich! 

$6250-7500, that is a lot of money.

 

Some left over yarn, and also some left over fabric turns into some dresses.

I have a lot of yarn I am trying to use up, in any way. And I also got a lot of fabric, which I`m also trying to use up. I wonder where I got all the yarn and fabric from...hihi..

This time it turned up to be some dresses. Here I am showing off three of them.
But there are 3 more like theese ones, which is not finished yet.  Because I am missing the trim for the belt, and need to buy some more.
If you are interested in buying, I might sell a couple of theese.

Tjorven, one of the oldest models.

I see I have forgotten to give this little one credit. She is one of the oldest models and have stretch in her arms. Her body, arms  and feet are also made of plastic, not vinyl as the newer dolls. She is also marked with three rats: Ratti doll.
This is before I have cleaned her up.

I can not only show her naked. So I have to show her up in some of the clothes I have designed forTjorven. Just to make it up for showing her in the nude.

A new member of the Tjorven family.

This little girl came to me for a couple of weeks ago. Theese  dolls with curly hair has so vibrant skin colour. And I just love it. I am so happy that this little girl has her curls. Theese dolls with curly hair often shows up with dry and  frizzled hair.

Look up Tjorven #10.  I rerooted her, because the hair was thin and frizzled. I suppose she also once had curly hair.

And also here in a dress that I have made.

Original hair, but her braids have been cutted off

Reeroted and with long curly hair. I remember how satisfied I was, when finished this reerooting.

But the curls started to fall out, and the hairends started to split, a lot. The hair started to loose colour and got very ugly.

 The only thing to do was to start a new reerooting. Cut off all the beautiful orange hair.

Started to snip off the the hair. 

This time I wanted to give a total new colour, and I have also changed into a new brand for delivery of hair.

And somehow I always get back to the red colour, and they come in so many different red.

Long beautiful red hair. I just love it.

I also decided to root the hair a little bit tighter than the doll factory had done.

Almost a shame to bring her in the hairdressers chair.

Tried to curl the hair a liittle more.

I have also given her a dress that I have knitted.

Made some new dresses for Tjorven. This time with some glitter, lace and sequins. All girls want to have a little extra some times, right?
