A little hairdo

This little missy needed a little hairdo. Her hair was in a ponytail when she came to me. I am always excited to look on the condition at the new dolls hair.

She had some tangeled hair and the hair was some frizzy. Needed to do something about it.

After the hair was dried. Beautiful, but still frizzled.

Curling it up. And waiting again.

All brushed up and voila... a stunning beauty.

The weather is looking good

When the sun is coming and there are some + deegrees in the air, way up over the Artic circle in Hammerfest. Guess what is coming out of their hibernate? Not only the brown bear... but the bikers are also coming out.. So what is more nornal than to change clothes on the dolls too??? Perhaps they will get hold of a real biker Papa who will take care of them?

Here they are, ready for to go on a road trip... 

I suppose you have never seen Dukke Lise so darn hot before? Think she`s looking like a real biker Mama.

 Ratti doll... Mama over all Mamas. Still have to get some boots for her.

Another parcel for me???

What?? Another parcel for me??!!!
My friends are telling me that there is something wrong with me... ha-ha.. can`t stop laughing. Of course they are right. I am never out of something to do ...LOL..

Opening up... and what catches my eyes? A lot of doll clothes... oh my lucky me.

Beneath the clothes there are some more. Wonder what it could be??!!

Oh my..Dukke Lise # 6 og 7 has arrived.  And they are eager to come out.

Sigh.. my heart is just melting. Two adorables. In originally Lise clothes.

They had enogh clothes to change on their journey.

 And there was even something for me too... thank you my dear friend.

Dukke Lise from Magasin #4 and 5

What???!!!Another update for Dukke Lise Magasin???

Sigh.... just love to open the packages.

Still asleep after the journey. Adorable clothes.

Just woken up.

#4 Look at her lovely curly hair. Her colours are so bright, no need to fix her. But I think someone has changed her blue eyes.

#5 brown braided hair. So cute. Stunning colours, no need to fix them. The hair was some worn out so I had to unbraid her, and to check how damaged it was. 

Stunning beauty. After I had washed the hair and gently combed it. Some of the hair is loose so I have to do something about it. The haircolour is difficult to find, so I think I have to search a while for to find a colour that is similar. It is a kind of brown hair with a tint of grey.

Both beauties got originally Dukke Lise clothes. After a closer look, I see that their legs are different. #5 got slimmer legs than #4. 

#5 is also tilting, one of the legs have to be a bit longer than the other.

 I have to check this up with my dolly friends if this is originally.

The Dukke Lise Magasin family is rising.

A lovely little missy came to town. Got this from a doll lady like myself, she`s just a wonderful and adorable lady.
The dolls from her is in very good shape, and the clothes are nice and really looking well. All over the doll and the clothes are neat and clean.


Opening the box. On the top there is some dollclothes,


Had to spread them out. A lot of originally Dukke Lise clothes. Just so lovely and adorable. looks like they have never been played with.


Opening the paper very slowly, ... My heart was jumping.. look, she`s asleep, and not alone. She got company by a little one.


I just love theese Magasin dolls, they are just my thing. I think the family of Magasin dolls are going to grow. They all got got their own look.
It is a little spot on her cheeks, but it`s a minor thing. I can fix it.


She`s taking good care of her little baby.


And they are wearing the same outfit.


Welcome both of you to our family of Magasin. You will be well taken care of. And we are all going to play around and have some fun.

Dukke Lise Magasin #2

Got hold of a lovely little red head.
She`s just adorable and I love her. Look at the lovely red cheeks. The skin is very fresh, and is much better than #1Not rubberlike.
I just have to clean her eyes and her skin a bit, and then she is as good as new.
She came in the mail yesterday. Along with her on the journey she also had a lovely red coat and a red hat, and some green trousers and a blouse.


Look at the bottom of theese shoes:


She immediately made a good connection with #1
Seems like #1 is a little bit longer than #2


So now I made myself som more work... have to make both of them new dresses :)

Restoring Dukke Lise Magasin #1

Got hold of this doll for some weeks ago. Her eyelashes were gone, and one of her eyes did not work at all. One of her legs were also stucked. And she got a yellowish skin. She looked like she was drawn out of the Living dead films...


Had to take some choices of what to do with her... the first thing was her eyes. Didn`t know if I could rescue them at all... So I took them out for to see how damaged they were.
I wanted to use as much as I could of the old doll.


The eyes was saveable... so I cleaned them up, and putted on some new eyelashes. Here are also some other eyes that had to be rescued.














After fixing her eyes, I had to experiment with her skin. She is made of vinyl, but it fells like rubber. Rubber is not the best material to work with. But I think she came out well at last. Don`t you?
At least she got some colour back on her face and body. It is not so much to do with the yellowness in the skin that come along with aging..

I am very satisfied with her now, and have decided to stay with this.

New dress for Dukke Lise Magasin

Made doll Lise Magasin a new dress. Crocheted in 100% cotton.
Looks a little better than the other suit?



Still have to do something about her skin and her eyes..... it is now in progress.... her feet are now taken off her body, and she`s lying on my kitchen table along with other dolls limbs.... Looks like a crime scene. But the blood is missing.
