Ideal Toni doll P-91

What should i do when I find a doll I can`t resist? The right answer is: Bring her home.
But what to do when the doll smells like she has been living among pigs all her life, and is as dirty as well?
Full of mold and strange odours. The right answer is: Clean her up.

My hands are still itchy 2 days after I am finished with her: Thinking of some possibility of any fleas and other small insects or other bacterias.
The only thing I could think of was the beautiful colour of her hair, it was full of some kind of grease. Maybe also a ton of hairsparay, and other hair care products. Would I be able to save the hair?
Her she is. I was very anxcious if her skin would be all rigth after I had cleaned her up.
She also needed to be restringed as you can see.
Some moisture on her scalp, along the wig.
close up at her face. the eyes are saveable. Still anxcious about the skin around her eyes.
Started up the cleaning. Was all of this mold? Or is the painting torn off too?
Dirt on her arms, Some moisture here too.

The legs had some dirt spots, Not so much as on the upper body.
Starting to look as a clean doll again. Luckily her skin is not damaged. The wig has been carefully washed and put on again, still wet.
Time to show her off. After all she was the doll I thought she would be. Beautiful soft hair and beautiful skin.
No mold left
Back.
Fully restored.
Then it is time to show off her newly washed clothes. They had stains of mold, smelled like the doll herself.
And her white undergarment was over all light brown whith some big brown spots on. Stains of moisture, mold and other unmentional stuff.
I putted the clothes in the sink for to try to wash them in the old way: liquid soap and scrubbing. Putted in some detergent for clothes....And after a minute: What the Heck did I put in the water???!!! I did NOT put in detergent for clothes at all in the water, I had used detergent for the toilet ...uppss... oh well...
What should I do, take the clothes up from the sink? No, the white undergarment was so dirty that if it did not get clean by washing it, I had to throw it in the bin anyway.
Sadly I did not take any photoes of the undergarnment before I started up, but I took photoes afterwards. And I was really surprised of what the detergent for toilets did to the fabric.
The undergarnment did really go white again. I`m smiling all over my face. Because I thought that the cleaning process would take a long time.
But the toilet cleaner did in 20 minutes. And it did not bleach the fabric like chlorine would do, the fabric had even colours all over. Yay... I really did  a scoop with the miss I decided to go through with. And another thing came out of my mistake, the toilet cleaner is antibacteriell too. I felt the itching started to fade away right on.
There is only one tiny brown spot left on the skirt. I did not see it when I started to rinse the clothes in clean water. But from light brown to this white colour it is amazing. And I think I will leave it, just to remind myself of my "big mistake".
So after all I am really satisfied with my restoration of this lovely doll. Here she is,lovely colours, all set up and finished. Just missing some shoes.
I did a scoop on this doll, and I am extremely satisfied.
A little contemplation: Everything is possible and a new life ahead for me and my little sweetheart.
